Important Notice: PHP Sunset of version 7.3

  • Thursday, 14th April, 2022
  • 18:52pm

To maintain our systems and protect against any security vulnerabilities, we continue to make regular updates to the latest versions of software as they become available.

On Tuesday, May 17, 2022, HostSellers will introduce support for PHP version 8.1.

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, HostSellers will no longer support PHP versions 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3.

On this date, we will remove access to PHP versions of 7.3 and older for any users that have selected these versions using PHP Manager.

Going forward, HostSellers will only support PHP 7.4 and above for all new and existing customers.

Customers that have websites coded using these deprecated versions of PHP need to upgrade to the supported version for better performance, increased security, greater reliability and support for modern web standards.

A website built on a CMS (ie: Wordpress) or using functionality from a legacy version of PHP may experience issues if not updated prior to the sunset date.

Customers can access PHP settings using PHP Manager in their Control Panel.
